My second trip to San V this year, and found the bluegill and redear biting pretty good in the late afternoon. Even some lowly bass.

Dropshotting half a crawler gets it done. All fish were released.

Barrett from Saturday 7-8. Morning bite a little tough for us but once they started busting in the middle of Hauser it was on. Throw into a boil and its cant miss. Was just informed from the City that the new G3's 16" boats have arrived. They are being transferred to Barrett as you read.

Access to Barrett Reservoir is by reservation only. Patrons are limited to two vehicles per reservation. Photo identification of reservation holder required, the entire group must enter the area at the same time and be escorted to the reservoir.

Had a great day at Barrett. Water is only 65, I don't know why it expected it to be warmer. Speaking of temperature, at 0430 it was 36 degrees F in the air. That makes you wide awake even if you weren't while in your warm vehicle.

Nice work! I was there also, it was raining and cold!!

Arrived at 4am with RickM and we were super excited to experience the "new" lake, and indeed it definitely feels different with the water levels so high. Parking was great and the haul down with a battery and trolling motor was much easier since the dock was so close.
