So me and the son went out on saturday hoping for a great TW bite in hauser, 1st trip of 2024.

TW really didnt materialize as hoped, when it did, it consisted mainly of dinks.

Got to lake @4:30,cold, light wind,cloudy,it was a little busy, met Dave on the water and decided to head to Pine since I haven’t been since the beginning of the year. Slow picking on wacky rig, got a couple on crank bait and also one on a glide bait which I never throw.

We are getting to the end of the Barrett season, only a couple more days of the lake being open. Got there around 0500 and it was a pretty packed lot at pigs, so everyone was getting their last casts in, I'd guess. Air temp was cool, water temp was 71-72F. Well, that's it for me for this year.

Got to the lake in the dark. Met Chuck and we had a nice time. Water temp was at 70F and by the end of my day it went to 73F. Light wind from the North early.
