I took my tube out for a test after doing a few things. Biggest is changing my 30# thrust motor to a 45#. As i was setting up the tube i found that I had forgot my FF mount. So I'm fishing blind. Haven't posted anything since my 7.25lb bass few weeks ago at Murray(Didn't want to bore you guys as just landing mostly dinks anyway), but here is just a quick post from the SD River.
Got just 3 bites this morning on a quick session at the river and landed 2 bass.
Not big by any means but still ...

I’m not used to catching 7 pounders but catching 3 of them in the last couple months was pretty crazy and I was pretty lucky.
I probably will never catch another 7 pounder the rest of my life … ha ha

Missed three weeks of top water fun as I was working in Italy. Got some at Otay last week and today at Miramar had some more topwater action. Absolutely a gorgeous day with only one other boat on the water.

Thought this was a perfect photo to show of me flying down Lake Murray blvd with my truck and boat instead of posting pics of small (and even tiny) bass I have caught recently at Lake Murray.
Actually I have not fished much at all this month and yeah recently at Murray caught one ...

Finally got into some nicer fish at Murray. Final count was 5. All fish were over two pounds with one going 3.5 and another was 4.5. It really was a beautiful early December day.

Nice to have a day that wasn't a total dinkfest :D

Fishing El Cap with my buddy the Beef Shaman AKA @Pourboy . Always fun even when fishing is tough.

Caught this 7.25lb bass from shore this morning on a trout swimbait.
McFish says to never tell where..... but he already guessed where. Smart guy!

I just found the site and wanted to get things going again. I got this nice red ear sunfish at lake 5 on a night crawler.

My second trip to San V this year, and found the bluegill and redear biting pretty good in the late afternoon. Even some lowly bass.

Dropshotting half a crawler gets it done. All fish were released.
