Sometimes its true...it is fun and this was one of them...I was there for a total of 3 casts (flips really) and here is the result:

Way better than the 12 fish dink festival at Hodges the day before...

Well another local body of water with no lifetime skunk for me. This one took me 4 trips and every one was filled with optimism, the place looks so fishy...anyway here are some examples...nothing big but feels good to wash the skunk off...

It has been a while since I found some quality at the local pond...but got a couple good ones Monday evening... on my 2nd cast/flip
about 5 minutes later...

Finally ventured out to see what the deal with this lake was...you need base access to get to it. Anyway went there did what I needed to, to be legal and started throwing worms...little luck, but it was the middle of the day. I was about to ...

Ahh...redemption! Not the hog I was remembering, but learned a bit more about this body of water this morning. Here is the best of the 4 landed.

I too was a fast clicker...looking to see the Murray DD...but have to say, I love the dink posts almost as much!

I think I figured it out...tons of bites, 5+ top water blowups, (even 2 times they smashed my worm on the way in). More than 10 fish in under 4 hours...all very healthy and the biggest was about 4 lbs. Super fun morning!

I knew someone would ask...I caught it at my feet on a whopper plopper as I was getting ready to leave for the day and in my haste, I just released it...after it swam off, I even said out loud "no pic, no fish..." oops, sometimes my brain does not function properly ...
