4/17 Dam

Post by Dfishin »

Decided to hit the dam area north side. A lot of tubers. I saw robert_smith running around the lake with his dad on the back. He said something about getting cut off? I think it was about the gang of tubers pounding the shore. Thought Bubbler might have some action, nothing. Went to shore and caught a couple. Then to the buoy line couple more, the fish were all smaller but healthy. The baits that worked best were BH and Ika. Nothing over 3lbs. 23 total.

Yeah the bigger fish for us have been the North Arm (what's left of it). The kid that works for the DFG that askes you about your catch, was telling me when they shocked the lake, that larger population of fish in numbers is in the area you were fishing today.

Thanks for the report.
