Found identical ones (Tsunami Zig Jig Pro) at Walmart.

Re: What is this lure called?
Interesting looking lure... It looks to come in different sizes, weights, colors and materials(Plastic and metal and some with tail dressing .. Most seem to be metal (with your love of the kastmaster is what I assume drew you to them)... Which size and weight did you go with?... That pic you posed had split rings for hook attachment, and I don't think these come that way... Maybe he changed the hooks out.. Also the belly attachment point looks to have a ring attachment and the tsunami has a sliding wire attachment... Maybe a kock-off of the Tsunami?... Certainly worth looking at... Thanks for posting about it.kastmaster wrote: Thu Mar 05, 2026 9:09 pm Found identical ones (Tsunami Zig Jig Pro) at Walmart.Ordering a couple cuz guy had caught an impressive array of local species with them.

Re: What is this lure called?
Butch,
This guy's catch photos got me thinking about the lure:
https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/61346133
https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/61690432
It's such a wacky looking thing, but videos of their movement are intriguing.
I have a 7/8 ounce on order, but will be looking at lighter versions too. My plan, after initial testing, is to switch out the OEM treble with singles and split rings. I bet I can get surf halibut to hit it.
Best, kastmaster

Thanks for that update… I still wonder about that belly hook attachment point… Definitely different than the one on the one on the Tsunami one.. Older version? Different brand?.. Looks like it catches fish..Good luck with it and let us know how it performs…kastmaster wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 10:36 am Butch,

Re: What is this lure called?
There is a Got-Cha lure that is similar to the Tsunami Zig-Jig-Pro
https://www.calcuttaoutdoors.com/pages/ ... V3YlgDKZC8
But I think it is a Bass Pro Offshore Angler Big Shot… Same split rings for hooks, and the belly hook attachment is the same…
