9/20 Barrett

Post by Dfishin »

Didn't get there at the open around 6. Shawnster and Theo launching also. I decided to head to Pine. That was not good for me. Saw Big C and Max. Watched Big C land his 4 lber. I headed out to Becky's and so did Shawn. Becky's not producing as it was lined with yak. So I headed to main lake and Shawn and Theo headed down hauser. I started picking them up better, while using my spot lock to keep me in place. Again I could pick them off as they cruised under FF.
I did see 1 pod of rollers working around about hundred feet from me, I went for them powering my 30# thrust to chase them down. I caught 1 first cast then they never came up again.
Chipped away at catching them, nothing of any size and nothing lost of any size. Biggest 2 3/4 lbs. Ended up with 50.

I'm not complaining, even if it's my lowest count of the year. I have gone 13 times and might make it 1 more time.
