Meanwhile, up north in trout land.....

Post by TaBASSco »

The winter wasn't to brutal up here on the prairie, and the lakes and rivers finally thawed out. I have been fishing fairly often, along with my trusty angling partner Kim. Together, we have been putting the hurt on a number of various trout up on Flaming Gorge and few other spots. I also fish occasionally with a fellow from work, who has lived up here his whole life. He's the kind of guy that can school almost anybody, especially when it comes to fly fishing. I am not the greatest fly angler in the world, but I have been known to catch a fish or two on fly gear. I need to spend more time on the water, crafting my techniques. Anyway, summer will eventually arrive, the last of the higher elevation snow will melt, and then it will be time to fish in the mountains.

Heck yeah!!!
I always love to see your posts. You are out there in all types of weather conditions and catching nice fish.
I held on to my coffee cup to stay warm just by looking at the gear you are in. It's crazy as I know
I am a lightweight thinking it is cold here in San Diego. You never let us down with a great assortment
of fantastic pics that pretty much tells the story that you are having fun. Thank you for sharing
your adventures with us and Best Wishes always and Tight lines. :-)
