Hodges April 21 report

Well it was a long day, but ended up productive enough for me, caught 7 farmed 2. Go there and it was still a bit dark, but everyone had already got a ticket and headed to the lake...The opened the gate EARLY? That's a new one. Headed over to Hernandez side and commenced shore pounding. First fish was on a spinnerbait and between 3-4 lbs...good start....more pounding. and about 1 fish/hour never did get 2 fish at one site. But finished off with a couple nice ones on my long walk back to the car.

Nice day, good report. Were they all on spinnerbaits or did you also have something else work? They seem to be opening a bit early lately. Last Sunday I think it was pretty dark when we all got in.

Get a tube. You'll not regret it. It will pay for itself in recovered tackle!

Truth!!! And buy a “hound dog” to unsnag those lures really stuck.

Only 1 on the spinnerbait, one on a glide bait, and the rest on the ol' wacky rig...
