Hey Guys, 1st off Merry Christmas to all and to all good fishing!
2nd, have my son in town for a few days and with San V closed on Tuesdays I’m trying to figure out where to take him. It’s either El Cap or Murray and I haven’t fished either in months. Anyone got any suggestions for me? Really appreciate any help.
Where to go tomorrow

Re: Where to go tomorrow
I was at el cap yesterday, caught nothing. I threw underspins, a rig, drop shot, cranksbaits and a jig. Talked to 2 guys at the launch and they both caught one on a jig. I hit rock piles from the front to the back of the lake. I’m no pro fisherman but I’ve been fishing el cap almost every weekend for a few years, so I was pretty bummed to get skunked. I would hit Murray, simply because it’s a smaller lake and targeting these fish are probably a little easier.

Ever consider SD Bay? Boats are rentable and I use bass tackle for the most part. With the right timing, the bay gives up double digits and a variety of species.

That's where I will be tomorrow. Got a pack of these with some owner jig heads and it'll be game on for the bass and halibut..
