Colorado Springs area info.

Post by Carpkiller »

Gonna have couple free days next week
Looking for creeks or rivers where one could walk around and chuck spinners and other small lures at trout...or?
Eleven Mile Canyon is on my itinerary. It is a scenic drive even though October may be too frosty to catch a lot of fish. Or any.
And the Dream Stream too.
Any other creek spots, perhaps at lower elevations?
Thanks in advance.
CK
I went to Balboa Island and laid in the sand,
I may be ugly as hell but at least now I'm tan....

Did you get out there? Only place I've fished was the Arkansas River and the South Platte, both beautiful streams, but a bit technical.

Yep. A couple spots on the S. Platte.
