Tulum Mexico..

Post by Midnightpass »

We did our yearly trip to Tulum Mexico... We meet a bunch of friends down there every year and it's not a fishing trip... I fish an hour or less, some days, while my bride lounges under a palapa... This area is getting more devoid of sea life every year... They are constantly cleaning up the sagassum that floats in, and I think that scares the fish away... I have caught many snapper, grunts, jacks, a few bonefish and reef type fish here, but it was really slow this year... A few snapper, a couple of grunts and a jack of some sort... Fun trip despite the slow fishing...

Looks like a fun place, always fun surf fishing somewhere else just to see the different things you catch
