Not far. Where we were fishing the shad spawn last April is now 1/8 to 1/4 of a mile from the water. No joke.

Shallow back there and water is super dirty. Water is probably 10ft in middle, It used to be 25-40 ft. I was casting to it with random busters and it didn't take long to hit bottom.

The arm is on average 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 miles long. How long would you say it is now?

Half Mile at the most give or take. Its not a lot. Do you know the cove on the west side with a bunch of rip rap rocks on the south end of the shore rounding the corner going into it? That is one of the last fishable spots. I trolled a fat rap sr5 across the lake at that point and was hitting bottom the whole way across.
