I mainlined me some nature 10/24-25

Post by Dannicus »

I fed my addiction Thursday and Friday at Murray. Thursday was a bit slower as I spent the day trying to re-establish a pattern. Ended up with a couple of about 3 lb. clones.

Friday started off great with 3 nice popper fish - casting toward the boat dock, then soon devolved into a dink-fest. I caught maybe 2 dozen or so 6-10 inchers along the edge of the tules on tiny topwater walkers. Fun, but I got bored, so I switched to a jig and picked up a couple more 2-3 pound clones off the rocky points and flats.

It was getting time to pick the kids up from school so I tied on a little crankbait ant trolled it along over about 10 feet of water and landed 5 nice, fat bluegill/sunfish on my way back in. I included a picture of the little crankbait that the panfish seemed to really dig!

No monsters, but all in all a fun time getting back on the water. It was nice to meet Dennis and Tony from here on the forum out on the water too! I appreciate when you guys come up and say hi!

Tight lines everyone!
Dan

It was good to meet you, Dan. Thanks for talking BFS fishing with me. Murray has been good to me lately but you’ve been killing it.
