Got to lake @4:30,cold, light wind,cloudy,it was a little busy, met Dave on the water and decided to head to Pine since I haven’t been since the beginning of the year. Slow picking on wacky rig, got a couple on crank bait and also one on a glide bait which I never throw.
Then headed all the way back of Pine and the popper came alive, got a nice 5lb on second cast, didn’t really hit that hard but took off like a beast! Thanks Dave for the pics, we parted ways cause Dave had to leave. Half way back I found an area where I got a 4,two 3s and a couple of 2s ALL on the popper, they really hit hard. Didn’t really get many but definitely the quality was awesome. The weather was great, little wind,air temperature 75 water was 70.
