Was one of the last to depart this evening and encountered this road block. Cleared it the best I could to my left (so your right) on the edge of the road, but some was slightly sticking out still. It was very dead and fairly light, so a heavy wind could easily blow pieces back on the road. Exercise caution when entering tomorrow morning in the dark.
As for the fishing, I arrived in the afternoon and fished until it was time to leave. The fish weren't really worth counting but I'd guess around 30-35 bass with 6-7 decent fish and the rest 8-11 inches. Encountered a couple schools about the size of a football field on bait where a minibass could be caught easily every cast. In previous weeks I could reliably find the larger fish in the midst of these schools but it seemed impossible today. If you want to catch 200 bass under 12" in 5 hours, bring your UL. If you want to catch quality fish consistently, I haven't a clue. The 2 large schools of fish were near bigger groups of shadbirds (definitely their name) that were frequently diving.
