It was a quality over quantity today at El Cap. I only caught 4 fish in a whole day of fishing, but all were over 3 lbs (based on my old analog scale). A ton of fun on ultralight BFS gear for sure.

Well it was a long day, but ended up productive enough for me, caught 7 farmed 2. Go there and it was still a bit dark, but everyone had already got a ticket and headed to the lake...The opened the gate EARLY? That's a new one. Caught several clones and this behemoth at Hodges this morning. My scale sucks but definitely in the 8lb range. I debated on going to Otay today as it's much closer to me. I'm glad I chose to make the drive! It was great to see Pourboy out there too. Good times!

Had an 11 bass morning today at El Capitan. All over 2 pounds with a couple over 3.

I was fishing a Texas rigged TRD Crawz, pitching it right to the bank and into the weeds then jigging it back out.
