Pacific Beach, Sept 24-25
Fished south of Crystal Pier Tuesday and Wednesday morning with sand crabs. Water temp around 67, light grass with the occasional big chunk of kelp. Water seemed a little sandy to me. Bite was slow but fish were bigger than what I normally catch here. Caught 3 BSP Tuesday. Caught 2 YFC and 4 BSP ...

Mission Beach 5/25
Usual bait stealing critters this morning. Lots of sc's again, but mostly small, none with roe but quite a few soft shells. Water temp felt around 64-65, no grass problems, just a few kelp floaters. Got a half dozen hand size perchies & one small ray. Nice to see a different species showing up ...

Heartbreak At Crystal Pier
Day 5… Heartbreak! …After catching 8-10 decent BSP, I cast B2B sand crabs next to the pier, and I hooked a huge SFC... Of course it headed straight under it... I followed trying to keep it from wrapping the pilings... I followed into chest deep water with breaking waves under the pier.... I fought ...

Spotties using new technique
My right hand has carpal tunnel and it's been painful casting and stripping line for extended periods of time.
I borrowed a technique used by stillwater guys, using a floating line, long mono leader, and break-away strike indicator. The idea was to adjust the leader length below the indicator to ...

Looks like a great day to me, that was one of your home made baits I think, nothing more satisfying than getting them on your bait, what size head was that?

Re: Zippered waders
I love my zippered waders! Absolute game changers. I found Paramount Outdoors over a year ago and the Deep Eddy Zippered Waders that I got from them are the best I have ever owned. After purchasing them I reached out to them telling them how much I loved them and let them know I make YouTube Videos ...

Re: Anybody ever use this Frog Togg neoprene boot?
Never used them.. But are your fins loose enough to accommodate those lugged soles? .. I do mostly sandy beaches and don't need anything more than barefoot or flip-flops, but I could see the extra protection and support being good for rocky, rougher terrain... I don't know how the extra weight over ...

Re: So....Hover Rigs....
I have used them and with light tackle and caught bass. It is one of my "reaction baits" I talk about in my fish reports. I have not used
them too often, but I can see that with more use they can be pretty effective. I like the way the bait stays basically horizontal

Re: Study- masks causing major harm...
Idk if they cause more harm but they certainly never worked. The whole thing was a sham, one big money grab for the elites. The whole thing was planned years ahead, Bill gates and fauci were both investing millions into pfizer before the pandemic even happened. And the patent for the covid 19 test ...
