Very slow day at Bonita Cove/Mariner's Basin this afternoon, just like the tide chart and barometer said it would be. But the rain kept the people away so parking wasn't too bad.
Only got a couple of spotties, but they averaged 13 inches.
One of 'em ate a bass jig (green football head, 4" spider ...

South Bay Saturday.

Followed Gotfish around for a while on the Coronado side.

Managed 13 sbb, a short halibut, and the first one of these that I've got on a ScorcherZ tube bait (green).

And this one was much larger than any of the ones I've got on bait.

No it means it is built like a white water raft. No insert bladders which are covered by a nylon case zipped around them. Like a modern tire on a car...no inner tube.

I have owned both, and while a float tube isn't as fast as a kayak, for me it is far more maneuverable and precise. It is smaller, lighter ...

I'm really enjoying this thing, it's probably twice as fast on the water as any other tube I have owned, and over the years I've had a lot of them. Europe has definitely pushed float tube technology much farther than north America.

Made some drill paddles for myself but don’t need an extra. If anyone is interested I’ll sell it for $30:
