Re: Werfless
Pretty sure this is not a re-launch of the old site. Why the comparison?
Only the format was cloned. These are different people, or else why launch a new site, when the old one could have been tidied up and rearranged a bit. I am an administrator on a couple of sites, and administrators can ...

I'm back for good
Folks, I do apologize for being at least partially responsible for this forced upgrade from .com to .org by my postings in the old Lounge since I never had something meaningful to brag for and post on other forums. Having said this, I may only rarely post here but I'll strictly follow the rules ...

Re: May Gray
A lot of people are counting on the El Nino again to bring all those fish up deep south in Mexican waters but to me it sure seemed like last year was an El Nino instead seeing how close and in large numbers those Dorado were. BUT for anybody that works outside for their occupation must be pretty ...

Re: May Gray
It means weather is like a box of chocolates, never know what you're going to get.
Tom Hanks , said it best.
A 50yr weather prediction seems silly..
But a 2 month weather prediction is a gold mine. Citadel makes billions off of its better weather predictions.

Barrett report July 8
Hi all,
Got on the water at 0420 today. Slight wind making a small chop on the water then. Pedaled over to Hauser and Becky's cove for the first light, which took a while. Whole lot of nothing. Zip. Nada. Of course on my first cast I had a boil that almost pulled my kayak in, so then I was ...

Re: Barrett report July 8
Nice one! We may have fished near you in Hauser. Saw deer too. Always cool. On your crawler, many years ago I found a jitterbug that gurgles and wobbles good and I thought it would get them to go for sure. No luck after 10 minutes today so I went back to flukes. Will have to dedicate some time to my ...

Barrett Personal Best! July 9th
Still working on quantity but quality is way up! Was on the lake 420 at Pine Arm by 445. Got some dropshot in the water and caught one with the stars still out! That was really fun. Then moved deeper into Pine and saw some boiling that I was able to put a white/chartreuse jackhammer on. Didn't weigh ...

Catchy Saturday 9-14
Quick report and sorry it won’t help the guys today. Slow senko morning for us in Pine at previously good spots. But there was a pattern as we came across Dave Early Release and he was slaying them on jerkbaits. We flipped over to Hauser about 9:30 and worked the banks for schoolie sized biters all ...
