Zippered waders
Waders with zippers are typically $400 and up. I saw this for <$200 and got it: https://www.basspro.com/p/white-river-fly-shop-prestige-front-zip-stocking-foot-chest-waders-for-men?hvarAID=shopping_googleproductextensions&ds_e=GOOGLE&ds_c=BPS%7CShopping%7CPMax%7CProprietary%7CGeneral%7CNCO%7CGoogle ...

Re: Zippered waders
I love my zippered waders! Absolute game changers. I found Paramount Outdoors over a year ago and the Deep Eddy Zippered Waders that I got from them are the best I have ever owned. After purchasing them I reached out to them telling them how much I loved them and let them know I make YouTube Videos ...

A browner shade of brown.....
South Bay Saturday.
Followed Gotfish around for a while on the Coronado side.
Managed 13 sbb, a short halibut, and the first one of these that I've got on a ScorcherZ tube bait (green).
And this one was much larger than any of the ones I've got on bait.

Best Float Tube Lakes
What’s up everyone,
I’m getting my first float in the next week or so. My buddy and I are going to Barrett but I’m new to tubing and was wondering what other lakes are recommended?
I’m willing to venture out of SD as well. Thanks!

Re: New tube ordered!
Bladderless? Does that mean that it's permanently 'inflated?'
No it means it is built like a white water raft. No insert bladders which are covered by a nylon case zipped around them. Like a modern tire on a car...no inner tube.
Gotcha!
Float tubes have come along way since my POS ...

Re: All set
So with these high end tubes, what’s the reason for not building out a kayak for roughly the same cost? Why give up the extra maneuverability of a yak?

I can only speak for myself, but I like the feel of fishing from a tube better than fishing from a kayak. I may not be able to go as fast or as ...

All pads and d rings glued on, motor, battery, fish finder and rod holders mounted. Fold up wheels installed. Swing away bait tray mounted. Yep, she's ready for her maiden voyage tomorrow.

I have used them and with light tackle and caught bass. It is one of my "reaction baits" I talk about in my fish reports. I have not used
them too often, but I can see that with more use they can be pretty effective. I like the way the bait stays basically horizontal

Re: So....Hover Rigs....
Vinny,
There was a day when something like that yamamoto bait was working better than anything else on the spotties in the Cays. I didn't have 'em...but a kayak guide's client was killing with 'em. I swapped him some of my other baits for a couple of his, and I caught spotties 'til the baits were ...

My long time fishing partner had to move for business which leaves an open spot on my small fishing boat. Fish both the lakes and sometimes sd bay. Im retired so I go almost every day. But if someone wants to tag along or share expenses the company would be great. Just pm me.

Re: Are the bass schooling on bait yet?
Will go first but know there will be varying opinions…yes the bass WERE schooling on bait a week ago. The recent cooling trend had them deeper with very little surface activity. The bite is still good, just deeper. My time references here (days on the water so far) are April 7 (Share Day), May 11th ...
