Re: 9/5-SD River- "Oh yeah.. Again!"
Nicely done! Funny what those blue gill bites turn out to be sometimes.
Yeah, sometimes over the years a bluegill will tap a plastic worm and I set the hook to nothing. Or at times it’s a tiny tiny bass and a few times actually have launched bass over the Kayak or Boat…..if the hook sets. I ...

Re: 9/5-SD River- "Oh yeah.. Again!"
Beast of a 7 pounder right there. Looks bigger, again. I was picturing a tarpon or marlin jumping with you were describing the 4 pounder jumping.
Way to go!
I think a lot of the bass down there have never been caught or have only been caught once or so because they fight like crazy after being ...

9/12-SD River
Headed back to the river for a little dirty water fishing as one day I expect to catch a 3-eyed bass similar to the one that aired on a Simpsons episode...ha ha

Re: Murray 9/11
You have proven time after time that you
have the jig down to a science fooling bass
at every lake you go to. The bass at Murray

bass are feeding on shad. Nice job buddy!
Hopefully will see you on the lake soon ...

Re: 9/12-SD River
They all look healthy. Good stuff.
Is that a Bandit Crankbait?
I'm a KV fan. He used to be the New Kid in the game and now he one of the old timers. I think I can relate =D
It’s funny how when I look at some of my lures
and I realize how long ago it was when I first started using them ...

Re: El Cap 9/22
Was there in my kayak from about noon- 5:30pm yesterday. El Cap is always a blast. Definitely was slower for me than it was last weekend, but I missed the morning bite which is usually my jam.
Ah...there for a rare afternoon of fishing eh? Don't see you
doing that too often. Anyway...glad you ...

9/23-Finally back to Murray
Sometimes you just need a little break and decided it was time again to hit Murray in the morning before it gets too hot. Did not get an early start as I finally was on the water around 7:45a.m. Not much surface action so I decided to flip a little with a Tokyo rig. I probably mentioned it a number ...

Re: 9/23-Finally back to Murray
Nice day back at the Murray.
You don’t show what you caught that last pictured Bass on, is it a secret bait?
Curious do you ever get skunked, I’ve never read a post where you did?
A little jealousy showing I guess.
Senko on the last bass.
Yes, of course I have been skunked. I think
earlier in ...

Re: Lake O'Neill (Camp Pendleton)
Oh my gosh, that must’ve been pretty darn exciting while the fish was on. I always anticipate something happening when I get a healthy fish and if I’m able to land it, I’m pretty darn happy… but it seems bigger fish have a way of getting away.
