I'm thinkin we started throwing baby sluggos at San V maybe 25-30 years ago! I threw them with a 8 1/2' foot rod and 4lb-6lb test! I now throw them with braid and 8' of 8lb Pline fluorocarbon leader. What line are you throwing at those schoolies?

20lb braid with 8' of Pline Fluoroclear. The braid helps in throwing weightless baits.


Question on the setup McFish and others…my braid to fluoro (50 to 10) is hard to throw smaller baits as the braid seems to dig in to itself on the spool ...
