Of all your posts, Miramar just seems bleh. Hard to believe that it once held some of the biggest bass ever caught.

The way I learned (which could very well be wrong) is to fish the wind at your front, or blowing towards you. The reason being is that the top water current will blow any forage towards you and any fish looking for a meal will follow that forage.

Thought about Murray, but instead headed up to Lake Miramar again for a morning of fishing with my kayak. I figured I would try to go get'em while I can because after Labor Day, there will be no boats, kayaks, float tubes allowed on the water I was told as they will be working on a big water project ...
