You were spot on with the deeper bite. We enjoyed watching you two dissect that flat across from us, it produced for hours! We think the big one that finally broke Cynthia off after our Chinese fire drill was a hefty cat. Interesting that Brad got into one too.

Great pics and topwater day!! C might have you on the I think I can” award…Monday at Otay she caught literally a 1” bass fry, tiniest thing ever, biting a 4” senko. I have no idea what it was thinking but it cracked us up. I really F’d up not getting that pic for the ages.

Hey Shawn…ditto on no swivels. Always tie direct to line. And I fish 8 to 12lb at all SD lakes for bass if you aren’t already. We didn’t see the usual mammals there yesterday but my new-found birding fanatic glassed a big heron feeding a large, loud nest of babies with regurgitated fish she was prowling the shoreline for. A great show!!
