Re: New Loveland Updates
The County Supervisors promised us that our closed days at the city lakes would reopen and they've done nothing to accomplish that! It's hard to believe that they will do any work towards fixing Loveland! They have a reputation for doing nothing for the City Lakes!!! Hodges and El Cap would not have ...

Re: Tilapia at murray??
There's all sorts of crazy things in Murray! I've seen Pacus, Piranhna, Oscars, Tinfoil barbs, and almost every aquarium fish you could imagine! At least you can eat the tilapia! Hodges has a bunch!

Re: What fish is this?
Schooling a fish biologist with wiki links. Bravo
Pulled straight from Dill and Cordone (1997), History and status of introduced fishes in California 1871-1996 Fish Bulletin 178, but it could be misinformation...what do I know?
I was not contradicting anything you said, read my post again ...

Re: Fish ID?
It seems like you might have caught a Nile Tilapia there. They are known for their distinct appearance, and your description aligns with the characteristics of this species

Re: Little staycation
Had to laugh. My boss gave me a GC for Ruth Chris last year for $50.00. I’m not sure if he knows that will get me a baked potato and an iced tea over there

Re: New Loveland Updates
Loveland Peeps.
My exit point as the leader in this fight has arrived.
The next Chapter in my life starts with more camping and fishing in retirement.
Thanks to anyone who pitched in.
Good things will come to Loveland and its enthusiasts.

Re: Lake Jennings
I used to rent a boat and go to Jennings with my kids. Enjoy! If you really want your kids to catch them, think about getting a dozen live shiners. I haven't thrown live bait in years but with kids and a goal to get them hooked up they are hard to beat.

Re: Lake Poway?
Don’t forget, Long was a salesman too. He had special privileges at many lakes. He fished Jennings on days the lake was closed. He had access to the gate, launch-the whole lake to himself. That lake is an aquarium. If anyone has spent anytime there, you’ve seen monsters swimming around in that lake ...

Re: New to bass fishing
My intel is telling me the bass are eating lots of shad so my suggestion is you throw some topwater baits or jerk baits or any other type of reaction baits. When bass are going through a frenzy eating shad that would be your best bet.

Re: New Loveland Updates
Here is the Loveland Sunrise to Sunset Petition.
It also shows Anderson is still connected to the other rural lakes initiative he started.
I guess there are reasons not to sign or help with this petition.

Re: New Loveland Updates
Please be careful about rattlesnakes if you go to Loveland. I went over one boulder for the first time, scrambling down to a fishing spot. I've seen a few, but this is the first time I've been between the water and the snake, and it's rattling. I never saw it because I scrammed away, as did the ...

Guy was/is a fucccing tool; and a half. I’m sure he could have done something if he wasn’t a punk. Not like Kellen went into protective custody 🤣. The two of you sound just as douchey as Long is. How many other people had the keys to lakes fishing them on off days and hours? The sooner you admit he ...

Re: Lake Poway?
There is an actual documented POS scale they use. It starts with the biggest spineless cockroaches, you know, child molesters and rapusts. Then, nipping on their heels, are phone and internet scammers and Mike Long!! That’s just the gutter end of the spectrum

Re: Lake Domingo?
I rode with a group of dual sport riders out to that "lake", several years ago. It is actually a pond, and when we went, it was pretty low, not that it is very deep to begin with. It was winter, and about a third of it was iced over. I have heard people claim that they have caught bullheads ...
