2nd Wednesday Dink Fest

Post by Johnnylh »

What up guys? I was blessed with the opportunity to hit Big B last Wednesday the 13th, second time this season. I've avoided pine as I have had inconsistent results there over the 15 years I've fished Barrett. Either way, it was a repeat of opening day in terms of the catch. Dink Fest. Popper yielded nada, crank early on, nada. So senko's were the go to, as well as Ikas. I had a blast, but had only one fish that weighed 2.25 lbs. All the rest were smaller than the usual clones. They were all very healthy, well fed little guys though. That was reassuring for the future. I worked my way to the back of hauser, plucking away at the little ones. All in all, a great serene beautiful day on the water. Where have the bigger units gone? The pic shows my 4 oz giant of the day.......

You might like to add a gripper to your scale. It holds the fish a lot better with less stress than the metal hook on the scale. Even the big ones. Some scales come with the gripper already attached.
