Otay 5/18

Post by JakeBevilacqua »

First post on the blog after using this for lure suggestions for almost a year (which have been super helpful). Saw Dannicus on his float while dropping my boat in. Had similar success. Caught around 10 on jerkbaits fishing in 3-4 feet along both arms (1-2 pound range). Have never seen the water level so low, but it probably helps with catching em since they are easier to reach. Also saw a BUNCH of dead trophy sized bluegill floating along the shorelines as well (don’t know what that’s about).

What would you guess as to the numbers of Bluegill you saw floating?

I’d say around 8-9. Saw most in a cove by the dam.
