Got to Murray around 6:45am. Tiny bass busting near launch. Not one hookup. Kinda set the tempo for the morning.
Got a couple dinks on the jerkbait. I moved around a lot. No discernible pattern could be found.
Bumped into the biggest of the day on a dropshot. Only went 1.3#.
Ended with 6 but only one legal.

I had a similar experience. I got on the water at 8 and didn't get a single bite in 5 hours....go figure. Glad you avoided the skunk though...

Dang those fish are playing hard to get and at least you picked up a few. I guess I picked the right week not to go to Lake Murray, but hopefully things will get better soon. Thanks for sharing and hope to see you out there on the water again one day soon .
