It’s Been a Minute..

Hello angling amigos, it’s been a minute since I posted here.

Work and band stuff is keeping me busy… oh, and so is fishing

I have a couple spots I’m admittedly not gonna talk about here where I’ve had success in the last month.

As for the ones I will gladly talk about, have been out to Cap, Otay and also a canal visit sandwiched in there.

Cap bite from the shore is tough in the afternoon/evenings. Grinding for a couple worm fish varying from dinks to solid 2.5lb fish. There’s boiling fish way offshore in open water, I’m sure the guys in boats are crushing it out there.

Canals are getting fun. Pile of small crankbait fish, only one keeper but still a ton of fun.

Otay… it’s been tougher lately but my last trip out, the final hour of the day was magic. Getting bit 1 in 3 casts with my favorite bait till they shoo’d us away turned frustrating grind into a great day. My favorite place to fish from the tube.

Also been poking around the river behind my office on Wednesday’s lunchbreaks. Not a lot of success to report there but at least it’s clean behind the Town & Country

Anyway, hope all’s good for all y’all here. It’s officially fall, ready for a 6 weeks of fun fishing before it turns winter on us!

Always great to see your reports and the pics of nice healthy bass. Looks like you’ve been mixing it up at a lot of different places which sounds like fun. Fall is here and I doubt that winner will be stopping you from catching bass after bass. Thanks for sharing and tight lines always buddy.

Nice report bro.... good to hear otay is still hitting like normal ( great in early morning and late afternoon) the first picture is asking for a lizard to be thrown in that open corner thanks for sharing

I thought I would 100% get a frog fish in there. It’s pretty skinny water and it’s loaded with fishy cover.
