Sheepy weekend

Post by Zhao »

Back felt better. Wrap a back brace and let's do some moderate casting in the reefs. Again lost a big one that broke my 1/0 hook, but did land a few sheep over two sessions last weekend.

Start with "barely legal"

This one is legal for sure

Biggie Boi. Pulled some drag. It took a toll on my back.

PB! Pulled tons of drag but luckily my 10000 size reel had enough line. Total exhaustion to pull it from the rocks. Tremendous excitement.

Lots of salad and had to move up and down the beach to find a fishable spot. Fish was active. Tight lines!

Cool. How far are you casting out for these?

I'd say 50-70 yards. Did not put in full force due to back concern. I went during low tide so I could wade to farther reef.
