Hodges Report 3-16

Post by tomnilll »

It was a slow start but ended up with 5 fish...not bad for my 1st outing of the year at Hodges...I threw a bunch of stuff early, first trip...lots of off season tackle purchases. But the first fish was on a texas rigged baby brush hog.

Then I tried more of that and got snagged a few times so I switched to the ol` whacky rig...and it worked ok!

pretty good day for me...and got broke off between the dink and the last two...the big one that got away, I guess I will need to go back.

Nice work. Hodges seems pretty good this year, last year I felt like it was a little off. I like that spot where you are also.

I used to throw at those boulders from the shoreline many many moons ago with the higher lake level. Keep an eye out for about a half dozen rapala shad and fat raps 😜
