Woke up to ice in my boat cover this morning and it was a frigid 33 degrees when I launched. Had to bust out my little propane heater to keep my fingers working until the sun made it over the hills.
Couldn’t feel my fingers so I started out throwing a chatterbait and an A rig for about 45min for nothing. Still too cold to fish slow so I started slow rolling a big 1 1/4oz spinnerbait and on my second cast I got my best of the day, a 3.50 that choked it in about 25ft. Gave that another 15min or so then went to the dropshot. Picked up a couple more in the next hour. Then it was a slow pick the rest of the day. Ended up with 5 keeper bites and 3 very small ones.
The deeper I went, the smaller the fish got. All of my better bites were in about 20ft except for one I got on a Senko in 3ft of water. Best 5 went just over 13lbs.

Working on the smile thing
Actually got them on a few different baits. MM Roboworm, Fluttercraft, Senko, and a Zman dropshot bait. It seems to be a different a bait that gets bit best each trip. Still can’t seem to get bit on anything T rigged though
