Bay reel recommendations

Post by galen »

I know this has been asked 100 times, but it’s my first time asking. I have a few Quantum Smoke reels, at least 7 or 8 years old. This weekend I busted a few teeth off of the main gear, that was a surprise. What reels do you guys like for durability and does anyone notice if higher ratio reels crap out quicker than lower ratio reels. Thanks.

The Daiwa TWS (t-wing system) reels are awesome baitcasting reels, cast really far and very easy to cast without backlashes. I have only had mine for a few months but have other Daiwa reels that are over 40 years old. There are several different models, I have the smallest. I know others with the same real and they really like it too.

You can most likely find this part and replace it yourself
