Otay Sunday 12/17
Had an awesome morning ultralight fishing this morning at Otay. Caught over 30 chunky bluegills. I was jigging 3i nch Yamamoto shad shaped worms and a small 2inch sinking jerkbait. What a great time!

Oh it definitely was! Over 30 and all were quite large and healthy. I'm really looking forward to my new BFS rod and reel. I suspect it will be accompanying me on almost all my future trips. Ultralight is simply a blast.

I got a new BFS rod and reel this past month too, I need to get out there and try it. Maybe I'll head over to Otay, I have never fished it.
