5/13 Boat Day
For those of you who got charged for 2 boats you actually will have 2 boats. You can sell the other boat if you want. Ticketmaster sold 12 double boat tickets.
As far as fishing went on 5/13 it was all typical Barrett for us three on the boat. On yhe water by 5am. Top water poppers for us right off shore in pine. Most 1-2 pounders. Switched to wacky and swim senkos and killed it. Got a 5.3 lb and a 5 lb. Some big gills as well. Good luck out there like always it was awesome. We do the 1 boat trip then all kayaks the rest of the year. Total for us 167.

Re: 5/13 Boat Day
No wonder it is hard for people to get boat spots. Rules are 1 ticket maximum per person per month but the default is 2 tickets. That's messed up.
There were still tube/kayak spots available on Wednesday.

Re: 5/13 Boat Day
It was changed back to the 1 boat option on Tuesday’s June sale. I suspect some ticketmaster programmer not familiar with Barrett’s rule set the counts to what they normally sell (2+) for concerts and sporting events.Gotfish? wrote: Sat May 16, 2026 7:46 am No wonder it is hard for people to get boat spots. P.S. I bought only one boat in May, catching the glitch right away.

Glad to see some larger ones caught and looking healthy. What did you catch the bigger ones on?

Man those fish are nice! I was there last Weds, ended with 42 fish, only one was over 2 pounds! 41 were dinks, the smallest was 4 ozs! Nice to see there are still nice ones in the lake. I was starting a whole conspiracy theory that they culled all the big ones to allow the small ones to grow up healthier or something.

Where are you catching the dinks so I can avoid that area? I mostly got fish over 1 lb the last time I went (Sunday a week+ ago) and a few over 2.Johnnylh wrote: Tue May 19, 2026 10:53 am Man those fish are nice!
