Ok well...Murray March 11

Post by Dannicus »

Murray has been ok numbers wise for me for the last few weeks, but everything has been clones and dinks so I haven't bothered posting.

Still I didn't want you guys to think I left altogether so I figured I'd better put up something. I've thrown everything from big swimbaits to worms and tiny jigs. These two came on a Ned rig, and 3" paddle tail, but I've had a decent worm bite lately too.

Tight lines all!

Thanks for sharing and it was fun talking to you the other week while you were loading your tube to head home. I have not been on the water at Murray for I think a month. Throwing swim baits from shore a few times but I need to get back out on the water. Hope to see you out there soon And tight lines always buddy :-)

Glad to see your post, I was beginning to wonder if you moved or you quit fishing ( HaHa ) I was getting use to your almost daily catches, and then nothing.
I been trying to get my friend to take his boat down to Otay which I haven’t fished in at least ten years.
I know you fish there often, have you been lately ( curious how it’s looking there ) water level.
Now that you’re back in action I’m sure you’ll be posting some from there soon.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. The water is low, and looks like pea soup, but the bite was pretty good for me. I would assume given the water temp that they are on beds, but I don't know how you'd be able to actually see them haha. That's ok with me though as I normally don't like to bed fish anyway.
