Southern Baja Estero Flyfishing trip
Just got back from my annual kayak fly fishing trip to Estero Coyote. As usual it was an awesome trip, but this year was colder and a bit windier than past trips. The colder water changed the fishing a bit - we had fewer Corvina and Corbina and more halibut and bonefish - the same toad spotties though. One afternoon it was really windy, but I still wanted to fish, so I broke out the spinning rod and caught my biggest Corbina of the trip. As usual we ate like kings every night - Seafood Paella, Pork Rib Roast, Filet Mignon and our standard fish fry. This year I brought down a second deep frier and made fries while the other frier was cooking fish - it all turned out awesome. Such a fun trip - camper is not even cleaned up yet, but I can't wait to go back down...

Makes me want to pick up a fly rod and learn how to use it.
