LJ Success! Sat 8/30

After holiday crowds left, I went back to north end of Marine St. I put a grunion on the hook, tossed it into the surf, and VOILA, a hit! The fish was a strong fighter, and, as expected it was a good-sized calico. Released.

Next cast, same thing, but quite a bit smaller than the first. I took a picture and then released it.

Then three young men arrived on the beach and jumped in the water for a swim right in front of where my pole was set up! Rude.
