So, since someone killed all the fish in my old favorite spot, I had to find a new one...so I tried Irvine lake. Only had a couple hours, and only got 2 bites, but it was worth the trip! Got there right at 7 when they say it opens and there were lots of people there already...next time i may go a bit earlier. Started by throwing the whopper plopper at the little stickups and did not take long and had a massive blowup! Here is the result...2 pics of the same fish cuz I think it was worth it.

And...on the way back past the same spot, I got to watch a 12 year old boy catch his first fish ever 5lb 13oz bass...could ruin him for life...

Always wondered what happened to this place. I remember when this place was the pay to play of olden days. I remember catching some pretty good bass out there as a kid. Good to see they're still there.
