Crappy Time of The Year

Post by Chatmar »

Hello Family,

Anyone heard anything about the Crappie bite in any of the San Diego lakes? I live I. LA and just about all of our nearby lakes are to stained or have limited fishing access. Any info is appreciated.

PS.

It pains me that Hodges is still closed.

I used to catch some decent sized ones at Cuyamaca last year. Haven't tried this year yet.
When are they expecting to re-open Hodges?

Hodges will not be open until May at the VERY EARLIEST, I would expect the closure to last into the summer. The city hasn't updated the website in a while
Stress is caused by not enough fishing
