Re: Welcome to SDFish Forums
Everyday I try to talk to a few guys and even while fishing at Murray this morning I spread the news of SDFish.org. to a few anglers.

Re: Post em!!!
Saturday Raven (my granddaughter) caught her first bass. Monday I caught my first bass on a swim bait.
I'm challenged. Trying to figure out how to add the pictures and am having no luck. I've used the attachments tab and when I hit the preview button the pictures are there but when I submit the ...

Tip of the day
I thought I would start this, others should chime in for our collective expertise. I will add things often.
1st tip of the day: if you find knots in superlines (Nanofil, Gliss, extra smooth casting braid) slip prematurely using your regular knots, then there are several possible fixes:
1. Put the ...

Autumn fishing on the high prairie 2023
We have had a couple of snow flurries up here in Wyoming now, but winter hasn't set in like it did last year, when temperatures dipped to single digits and the snow hung around until May. No more fishing in the Uinta mountains across the border in Utah though. They definitely are covered in snow ...

Lake Murray April 5, 2023
Murray bass .jpg The cold weather and water level fluctuating up and down has not helped the bass fishing at Lake Murray. It has been a tough bite with smaller fish as a reward after a lot of hard work recently. Good news as the action should be picking up now that we may be in for some warmer ...

Re: Lake Murray April 5, 2023
At least somebody is catching bass. I've been to my home lake 4 times and was unfortunately skunked each time. The water level keeps rising and I think the bass can't figure out where to start spawning. Good to see you catching a few Vinny. Hope to have a report to post soon.

Just a few from Santee while the site was down.
All caught on ikas, flukes, or senkos. The weather this winter has made the spring bite funky. Not getting as many bites as I usually get on reaction baits this time of year.

Catching up: San V, El Cap and Murray
Figured I’d update on what’s being going on. Some words to corroborate with all the pictures I posted in the catch thread.
As I mentioned there, February and the first couple weekends of March were brutal for me. I lost that big fish at Cap and didn’t get another bite till the first weekend of ...

Murray AM
Heck, out of all the guys on SDFish, it seems like only a few go bass fishing based on the amount of actual new posts each week.
I know that there are slow times for everyone when you may only catch one or a few small ones, but why not share it. I understand there are some guys who like to keep ...

A little help needed
Hey fellow bass fishermen, if you ever fished Barrett (God's gift to mankind, well, to bass fishermen anyways), or if you ever thought about it, we (those that go out AND the lake staff), could use one minute of your time to help with a' little' problem. Would you please? Here's what's up (I posted ...
