It was a cold one when I pull up yesturday was on the water while it was still dark which is very unusual ( I dont like fishing dark) meet with early release in the lot and then in beckys cove ..
Hit the shore across pigs lots with no takers on the lizard but the crank got a few dinks, once sun came up the lizard started to hit I tried 3 different colors and the best one was the plum color it got the most takers biggest fish was on the electric blue lizard (about 3.5-4 pounds) worked my way down hauser with the lizard and found a super shallow flat at the very end I had to push my way in once in, I was stuck as I threw the popper fish after fish was hitting hard it was fun to watch fish hit the lure in about 6in of water you can see the wave the fish makes as it charges the lures, fish there for about 30 minutes landed 17 then it completely died. Work my way up hauser with the popper and the bigger fish was hitting it. I lose 2 huge monsters right next to the boat as I try to boat flip them they jumped off didn't weight any fish cause they weren't as fat as last month most fish was super skinny and didn't fight as hard but still super fun to see blow up..
starting to get hot so bring lots of water

Thanks for the report! I started using lizards this season (based on your reports) and I’ve been happy with the results! So many lizards on the rocks the bass have to be eyeing them as prey. Also, is that a pond prowler you are fishing from? We have a new one for the season! Loving it so far.
