Was thinking ramp was closed and have lake to myself but ramp was open I headed strait to back north arm after throwing buzz bait jackal 007 and bayou bullfrog saw no fish they were boiling on shad shallow would not hit topwater I switched to mooch minnow 1/8 oz head spinning reel 6lb first casts hooked a good one swam at me went under yak I had half my pole under water fighting it under yak got it back in front of me and broke me off after 5 hrs fishing finally found a 13”er that bit on sink a Dropshot followed by another nice one he came up I saw him it went under broke me off 8lb this time same I landed huge cat with wtf then injury to insult I got a huge bluegill and said I had enough at 2 and went home
