Yeah, whatever.
There are a bunch of spinning and casting rods marked down, and there were a few Shimano Sienna reels for a couple dollars off. But the Lew's rods caught my eye. Especially the 6' 10" Medium action casting rod for ...$18.50.
I do NOT need another casting rod, but these things are very lightweight. The 6' 10" MH casting rod looked pretty good as well, it was 23 bucks and change.
There are a couple dozen different Lew's rods including spinning rods that are marked down. Can you find 'em at your local Walmart? Probably not...but if you're close to the Santee store and need a backup rod, or one for the kids...or just something lighter than the "I love the action of this old fiberglass rod but dayumm my tennis elbow is killing me" favorite...might be worth a look.
Best of luCK...
