Finally some time off from tournaments....
I finally got some time off from fishing these kayak tournaments up here in Northern California..... I was able to find and dial in a pretty speical bite on my now Home pond. Weightless 5" Shad color senko dead sticking on the tops of boulders. Tops of the boulders would be in about 20ft. I found a little piggy.....

Re: Finally some time off from tournaments....
Now I live In the central valley, specifically Fresno. I do still throw jigs however as of late I have been on a hot Free-rig Brush hog bite. Free rig is basically like a texas rig, however you use a line tie dropshot weight instead. So the brush hog falls more naturally and come thru cover vastly better then a texas rig. As of late my arsenal has gone from big swimbaits like a baitsmith Magnum trout to even the osp dice ball things. Learning where the fish are is not longer the issue, its getting them to bite that has expanded my tackle box to pure ridiculous levels.
