Fished the sweets a couple of times last week just to get some fishin in. Not a constant wide open bite with the bites coming every so often mostly due to the fact I was using heavier gear.That overgrown brush due to the water being higher eats the light line stuff and snags easy.

Baits that worked are in the pics and I can’t say that I had a bad time.The fish seem to be well fed.I also went where the Crappie Brigade did not go and there was a whole bunch of them.I just let them run off off ahead were they think the prime spots were and let them camp out on their spots. Remember that when you get to a lake and for some reason every one makes a beeline for he back of the lake.

That is one of the few lakes I’ve never fished. Well…
not since they opened it up for fishermen to access legally. Nice job and thanks for sharing.
