Re: What happened to the old SDFish?

Hi I’m new ;) Out with the old, in with the new. Good to see ya’s You posted a very good article on fishing SD Bay on the old site, I even saved it. Re: The beans are coming ;)

I got one a few weeks ago on a red perch fly as well. Hooked in the gill plate so I let it go with out a picture or measurement. Caught right after this lunker.

Re: Got one

Solid fish! Green/White Clouser? Yep. Floating line with a 12ish ft leader. I like using the floating line in shallow bay spots. I gotta hit strouds and refresh my clouser supply. Bought some from Amazon last year and they were poor quality. We gotta meet up. I've got so many extra clousers. I tie ...

Re: Carp Fishing at Henshaw

Follow the wind. Season might be a little early and cold for top water carp action, but the lake is susceptible to high winds (hence no kayaks) which can create scum trails on the surface that the carp feed on. If that materializes, follow the wind to where the scum is collecting and look for cloope...

Re: Flash freezing fish (tuna, escolar and moonfish) with dry ice

Thanks for the instructions. For those who try this, make sure you're in a well ventilated area, or you can pass out from the CO2.

How do you decide where to fish?

Salt or fresh? Bay or surf? Creeks or lakes? Which bay? Which beach? Which lake? Which creek? Which area? Rocks or sand? Grass or channels? Oh, first-world San Diegan problems. Every time I get the opportunity to fish, it's "struggle" on where to go. Doesn't help that I only get a few hour...

Re: How do you decide where to fish?

https://pickerwheel.com/?id=MmKkS Friday afternoons I need some help... Just for San Diego! You can make your own, add your own choices. This will probably come in handy more often than the current conditions dictate. During the summer, when my availability aligns with the incoming tide, you can be...

Re: Pro Bass Angler Forfeits $100K in Winnings When It’s Discovered He Didn’t Have a Fishing License

Lame that they dont mention Adams weigh-in total compared to Satterefields, not like itt really matters though.... Adams wont be sleeping well for abit.... I was wondering what his total weight was, too. It's not like he cheated, he "legitimately" had the biggest bag, so props to him. Suc...

Re: I'm back for good

Although we've rarely seen eye-to-eye, you've always been respectful and never resorted to name calling. We will never be a free society if we are not allow to express our opinions. Your opposing views have educated me in areas I was naïve in, and even if I still don't agree, you've given me a persp...

Re: SDFish member ranking

I'd rather have different reaction buttons that facilitate more interactions with members. Ranking is kinda baloney. The more I'm posting, the less I'm fishing, but that's just me.
