Yeah that bass was digging along the bottom and when it came to the surface
I was surprised how light colored it was. Maybe it was cold too! ha ha
Most of the bass in the river have more color and are darker usually.

I have learned to try to be more lenient when a guy with his family for example, are in rental boat and have no clue that when
they come close to where I am fishing or cut between me and the shoreline. Not fun, but I guess most do not really know any

I imagine there are some nice kayak covers out there and hope other kayak owners may be able to help you
find one. I have a Hobie PA 12 and Hobie PA 12 cover for my kayak is $265. It no doubt is quality made but that is
kind of ridiculous. Thank goodness I keep my kayak inside the garage.

That is funny that you bring that up because it is so true. When I was younger, every once in a while I used to bring a few bass home to my father. Some may have been gut-hooked with a worm hook for example, but nevertheless he would clean them and prepare them ...

Looks pretty good to me. You’ll probably get a six pounder next time.
