Even better, carry a rubber net, weigh the fish in the net and subtract the net's weight.

The water is pretty turbid. A couple weeks ago you could easily see pretty far in the water. Now it's the last couple feet. Yesterday Chuck and I had some success with loud topwater lures. I'd agree with Pond_prowler_619 on big loud lures.

And yes they are still draining the water.
